The Temerario is the latest addition to Lamborghini's High Performance Electrified Vehicle (HPEV) range, following in the footsteps of the Revuelto. Debuting at Monterey Car Week 2024, the Temerario has quickly established itself as the new benchmark in the super sports car segment, offering class-leading performance. The hybrid powertrain combines an all-new twin-turbo V8 engine with three electric motors, delivering an impressive total output of 920 horsepower. Uniquely designed and developed in Sant’Agata Bolognese, this engine is the first production super sports car engine capable of reaching 10,000 rpm. It has a top speed exceeding 340 km/h (210+ mph) and acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h (0-62 mph) in a mere 2.7 seconds. Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, commented: "The Temerario is a true 'fuoriclasse' – a car that stands in a league of its own. It is an extraordinary and innovative vehicle, both technically and stylistically. “Every new Lamborghini must surpass its predecessors in terms of performance, while also being more sustainable in terms of emissions. With the Temerario, we have reached a significant milestone in our Direzione Cor Tauri plan, completing our journey towards a fully hybridised range. We are proud to be the first luxury automotive brand to achieve this." The Temerario replaces the Lamborghini Huracán, which debuted in 2014 and has been the greatest-selling super sports car in the history of the Sant’Agata Bolognese-based carmaker.
