On 1 March, Six Flags Fiesta Texas will make history with the grand opening of the largest DC Universe-themed area at any amusement park in the United States. The newly expanded DC Universe section will feature three brand-new rides and give fans the chance to interact with DC superheroes and villains - including Batman and The Joker. Jeffrey Siebert, Park President of Six Flags Fiesta Texas, said: “We are thrilled to unveil the largest DC Universe-themed area in the US and bring these iconic characters to life for fans in Texas like never before. “This expansion offers an incredible experience, with exciting new attractions, expanded themed areas, and reimagined classics. With something for everyone, it is the ultimate destination for DC Super Hero fans. Now is the perfect time to get a Season Pass and experience this new DC Universe-themed area first-hand, right here in San Antonio.” The DC Universe rides include Cyborg Cyber Revolution, on which riders will embark on a high-speed, gravity-defying adventure as four massive mechanical arms spin in a hypnotic, interlocking pattern. There is also SHAZAM! Tower of Eternity, a family-friendly drop tower launches riders 70 feet into the air before subjecting them to a series of unpredictable, gravity-defying drops. Plus there’s the Metropolis Transit Authority- a monorail-style experience that allows guests to soar 17 feet above the park. Newly themed rides include Supergirl Sky Flight, Poison Ivy Toxic Spin, and The Penguin: Gotham City Getaway. The grand opening of the DC Universe-themed area on 1 March is set to be one of the biggest events in Six Flags Fiesta Texas history, drawing DC fans from across the United States and beyond. With a new Superman film also on the way it’s set to be an epic summer for DC fans!
