Headline: The Bears Take On The Dolphins! Chicago Zoo's Animals Begin Their Own American Football Season
Caption: **VIDEO AVAILABLE: CONTACT INFO@COVERMG.COM TO RECEIVE** The American football season is well underway, and animals at Chicago’s Brookfield Zoo are getting in on the fun. If you’ve ever wanted to see a clash between Chicago’s famous Bears and the Dolphins - well here they are - playing the game for real. Or at least enjoying their football-themed enrichment. Allie, a bottlenose dolphin at Brookfield Zoo Chicago seemed to take the Bears-Dolphins rivalry - stemming from an amazing Dan Marino performance for Miami’s Dolphins in 1985 that was the Bears’ only defeat in a Super Bowl-winning season - a little bit seriously. She stared down an inflatable Chicago Bears mascot—peering through a window in the Zoo’s Seven Seas underwater viewing gallery. Tim, a 1½-year-old brown bear at Brookfield Zoo didn’t want to let his side down and tucked into orange-coloured Bears-themed treats to support them. His ursine teammate Axhi - a veteran at 29 - also received blue-coloured ice filled with meat in celebration of the official start of the Chicago Bears’ season. Although they have no NFL team named after them to support, Brookfield’s two grey seals, Fisher and Mikey did not want to feel left out of all the fun - so they enjoyed football-themed ice and gelatin treats. As for the Chicago Bears themselves - their recent rout of the Carolina Panthers ensured a positive start to the season continues - with fans hoping for a first trip to the Super Bowl since their famous 1985 win.
