Headline: Terrifying moment car repeatedly rams into doorway of busy pub as punters scream

Caption: WORDS BYLINE: Julia Roberts Terrifying footage captured the moment a car rammed into the doorway of a busy pub twice, as punters screamed in horror. Frank Finn, 18, was arrested following the incident at The Dolphin Inn in Broadstairs just before 2am on April 4. Video shared online shows a black Seat Ibiza repeatedly smashing into the pub while Mark Morrison's single Return of the Mack played in the background. A woman can be heard screaming while a man’s voice calls the driver an “idiot” and shouts “what’s wrong with you?” Car wreckage and debris from the building were left scattered in the road, while damage to the pub entrance was clearly visible. It was reported that a man in his 30s, believed to be a doorman, required hospital treatment for leg and arm injuries. Having been charged over the incident, Finn, of High Street, Broadstairs, appeared before magistrates, where the case was committed to Canterbury Crown Court. At a hearing there on June 30, the teenager admitted offences of dangerous driving and damaging property being reckless as to whether life was endangered. On August 14, he pleaded not guilty to the more serious offence of damaging property with intent to endanger life. A further hearing will be held on September 8, with his trial currently due to start on October 5. Finn, who was supported in court by several family members, was remanded in custody by Judge Simon Taylor KC.
