Headline: Designs Unveilved For The £23k British E-Scooter That Can Hit 100mph - And Outpace A Tesla

CONTACT INFO@COVERMG.COM TO RECEIVE.** It may resemble something straight out of a sci-fi blockbuster, but this electric scooter is engineered to reach a jaw-dropping 100mph - and it's gunning for a world record. Dubbed the Turbo, it’s a high-octane, Formula One-influenced speed machine on two wheels, handcrafted in the UK and driven by cutting-edge tech born from some of the fastest vehicles ever built. Underneath its sleek aerospace-grade aluminium body lies a bespoke twin-motor setup developed by French outfit Rage Mechanics, each motor capable of handling over 300 amps of peak current. Together with an 88V, 1,800Wh battery, the Turbo promises eye-watering performance and an estimated range of 150 miles. Developed by Bo – a UK-based mobility company founded by former Bloodhound Land Speed Record and Williams F1 engineers – the Turbo is aiming to become the fastest electric scooter on Earth. The target? A Guinness World Record-worthy top speed of 100mph (160km/h). “The Turbo shatters every previous notion of a scooter. Our mission is to build the World’s fastest, reaching over 100mph. This unique vehicle pushes performance boundaries and requires exceptional technical innovation,” the company declared. Bo's boss Oscar Morgan added: “We are firm believers in the spirit of adventure. The UK already has a proud history in this pursuit with the first car to pass 100mph, then Thrust SSC taking the Land Speed record in Nevada. I guess you could say the UK has a proud history of crazy Brits constructing vehicles that ought not be possible.” Despite its resemblance to Bo’s 2023 consumer model – the Bo M, which tops out at 22mph – the Turbo is an entirely different beast. After 18 months of intense development, it now features F1-style brake duct inlets and ram-air induction to cool its high-powered internals. The chassis, known as the 'Monocurve', is CNC billet-machined and even doubles as a heat sink for thermal management. Professional BMX racer Tre Whyte was brought in to put the machine through its paces at the legendary Goodwood Motor Circuit in West Sussex, where it reached 85mph in early testing. And it’s not just about top speed – this scooter accelerates like a supercar. Bo says it can out-drag a Tesla Model 3, which implies a 0-60mph time in under five seconds. “E-scooters have been revolutionising how people move locally, but they are yet to enter the leagues of mainstream automotive culture,” Morgan added. “The Turbo is part of our mission to elevate these futuristic electric vehicles into the top tier of automotive performance.” Each Turbo will be built to order in a strictly limited run, with a starting price of £23,000.
