In the caption, she declared that she was "deeply sorry" for what she wrote about their relationship in The Woman in Me, which was released in October. ”I wanna apologize for some of the things I wrote about in my book. If I offended any of the people I genuinely care about I am deeply sorry…" She didn't specify exactly which parts of the book she was apologizing for. The Toxic singer, 42, then praised Selfish, the lead single from Justin's upcoming album, and Sanctified, a track he performed on Saturday Night Live over the weekend. ”I also wanted to say I am in love with Justin Timberlake's new song Selfish... It is soo (sic) good and how come every time I see Justin and Jimmy together I laugh so hard ??? Ps Sanctified is wow too," she added. Britney, who made her Instagram private after sharing the post, dated Justin between 1999 and 2002. Revisiting the relationship in The Woman in Me, the Stronger hitmaker claimed the NSYNC star cheated on her and that, she got an abortion after the Cry Me a River singer told her he didn't want to be a father when she fell pregnant. Justin has not publicly addressed any of the allegations in the memoir.
