The hitmaker was also married to dancer Jimmy Gulzar from 1998 to 2000. Mel said, referring to the recently released updated version of her tell-all memoir Brutally Honest: ”I explained everything. I can explain eloquently, since my story and my life are in that book. I've been given a few dates, but none we've said yes to yet. Only 30 couples a year get married there, so it's quite a thing.” To get married in St Paul's Cathedral, you have to meet certain requirements and get permission from the Archbishop of Canterbury. Mel continued of the big day, seemingly referring to her Spice Girls bandmates, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Mel C and Emma Bunton. ”Of course, all the girls are going to be invited. There will be some leopard print!”. The Viva Forever singer and Rory started dating in 2019 and announced their engagement in 2021.
