Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Ringo Starr cancels last two shows of tour due to illness
Caption: The English musician had been set to play gigs with his All-Starr Band at the TD Pavilion at The Mann in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Tuesday and at the Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Wednesday. But earlier on Tuesday, a representative announced that the concerts would not go ahead as Ringo is unwell. "Ringo has come down with a cold and after consulting a doctor he was advised to cancel these two remaining shows and get rest," they said in a statement. Ticketholders will receive an automatic refund. "As always, Ringo and the All-Starrs send peace and love to their fans and hope to see them soon," the spokesperson added. The tour kicked off in San Diego, California on 7 September, with the current iteration of the band comprised of Steve Lukather, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart, Gregg Bissonette, and Buck Johnson. Around the same time, Ringo announced he was working on a country album with T Bone Burnett. And in an interview with People last year, the former Beatles drummer explained that he had no desire to retire anytime soon. "Nothing makes me feel old. In my head, I'm 27," the 84-year-old insisted. "Wisdom's a heavy word. (Getting older) is what happens, and you try and keep yourself busy.".
