Rock Paper Shotgun report that original nineties sci-fi adventure game is indeed getting its long-awaited sequel, Outkast: A New Beginning nearly a quarter of a century after the original game dropped. There have been a few attempts for Outcast 2: A New Beginning, with a game under that title announced in 2021, however since that announcement, and no actual game to speak of Outkast: A New Beginning is finally on its way in 2024, albeit without the ‘2’ in the title. The new game is being created by some of the original teams at THQ Nordic and Appeal Studios. The new modern open-world sprawl offers a campaign lasting around 35 hours.
