Eurogamer reports that developer Mintrocket has confirmed a story expansion is on the way, along with potential spin-off games for each of Dave's friends. It's been almost two years since Dave the Diver debuted, captivating players with its unique blend of underwater exploration and sushi restaurant management. "I want to expand Dave the Diver IP itself," Dave the Diver creator and director Jaeho Hwang explained of the studio's future plans. "I think that's every director's dream, since we have a relatable character. We didn't go really deep into the personal stories in Dave the Diver, because we wanted to keep the game very casual." It seems the developer team will fill some of those blanks with the story DLC.
