The 13-time Grammy winner has posted two photos on Instagram of her in a recording studio, prompting fans to speculate she will soon release new music. She simply captioned the post with heart and musical notes emojis. The first photo showed the singer-songwriter wearing a pair of headphones, and the second photo showed a guitar and a tambourine sitting beside her on a chair. A new record would be the first solo release for Gaga since 2022 when she sang the theme song for Top Gun: Maverick. The song, Hold My Hand, was praised by film lead Tom Cruise as "the heartbeat of our film”. In September, she collaborated with the Rolling Stones on their Hackney Diamonds album, and worked with Mick Jagger on the track Sweet Sounds of Heaven. In the last few years, Gaga has concentrated on building up her acting career. In 2018, she starred in the Oscar-nominated film A Star is Born, garnering critical acclaim. In 2021, she appeared in House of Gucci. Most recently, she has recently filmed Folie a Deux, where she plays Harley Quinn opposite Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. The movie is due for release in October.
