Lenny went on to explain that Zoë, 35, introduced him to the Dear John star early on in their relationship, adding that their first meeting felt "very natural". "Like I said, he's very sweet, and it works," he told talk show host Sherri Shepherd. "Life is about timing and what you've gone through, what you've learned, and they're in the right place.". Lenny then confirmed that when Channing and Zoë tie the knot, he will "of course" give a father of the bride speech. Zoë and Channing became engaged in October 2023. They first met in 2021 when she was directing him on the set of her upcoming directorial debut, Blink Twice.
