The 39-year-old actress has shared that the most valuable beauty advice she received was never to wear make-up on a plane. ”Honestly, this is something that everyone knows, but just as a lazy person, not sleeping in make-up and not flying with make-up on," she told Allure in a recent interview. ”Joanna Simkin, my make-up artist, does a Bare in the Air campaign just to make sure that people know how unhealthy it is to fly with make-up on your face. I don't always follow the rules, but I know that it's bad for you.” Bare in the Air is an unofficial campaign the make-up artist started "to make sure everybody was taking proper care of their skin while traveling", according to Simkin. The make-up artist added that she is "working on some TSA-approved goodies people can pack in their carry-ons to continue to love their skin in flight”. Elsewhere in the interview, Issa revealed that her favourite part of getting ready is applying her make-up. ”I like to keep a clean face with lip, mascara, and tinting my eyebrows, and glasses.
