The news comes as rumours reached fever pitch that Styles was preparing to return to the stage after a three-year hiatus. Styles played a 15-night, sold-out residency in August and September 2022 as part of his Love On Tour series. The run earned him a permanent banner in the rafters of the venue, along with other blockbuster MSG sellouts such as Billy Joel and Elton John. It’s not yet clear how many shows Styles will do at the world-famous arena this time around, but the Post suggests it will be for a significant amount of time. The Watermelon Sugar singer has been tantalising fans lately with the prospect of his first stage performances since July 2023, when he wrapped the Love On Tour gigs in Italy. A few weeks ago, Styles posted shots of his last show in Reggio Emilia, and at the end of the video, the camera pans to a wide-angle shot of the crowd with the phrase We Belong Together across the screen. On Monday, posters appeared around the world with the same phrase. Fans quickly began to speculate that this is the name of his next musical project.
