The actor and personal trainer filed for divorce from the pop star after 14 months of marriage in August last year, and they have now settled their split. According to TMZ, the former couple filed documents at a Los Angeles court on Wednesday night and their divorce will become official once a judge has signed off on it. Britney, 42, met Sam, 30, on the set of her Slumber Party music video in 2016 and they got engaged in 2021. After signing a prenuptial agreement, they got married at her home in California in June 2022. Despite reports claiming Sam would contest the prenup, the new documents show that they both maintained the terms of the agreement in their divorce settlement. According to Page Six, property assets will be divided in accordance with the prenup and the Toxic singer will get to keep the money she made before, during and after their marriage. She will also hold onto "miscellaneous jewelry" and other personal items. The exes had already reached an agreement on how to divide their five dogs, with Sam keeping a Doberman named Porsha and Britney becoming the sole owner of her four other canines. Sam was Britney's third husband. She was previously married to childhood friend Jason Alexander for 55 hours in 2004 and dancer Kevin Federline, the father of her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James, between 2004 and 2007.
