Headline: RAW VIDEO: Firefighters Rescue Baby Fox Stuck In Jam Jar

Caption: Firefighters successfully rescued a baby vixen found with its head stuck in a jam jar. The female fox was spotted on a road near the village of Orsett, located between Stanford-Le-Hope and Grays in Essex. Firefighters Steve Small, Charlie Pyke, Joe Tindall, and crew manager Ash Phillips from Grays fire station managed to catch the animal, remove the jar, and transport her to Essex Wildlife Hospital in Orsett for a check-up. After receiving a good meal, the vixen was released in a safe location, according to the Essex County Fire and Rescue Service. Mr. Small commented, “We were happy to be in the right place at the right time to help this little fox out. She must have been terrified, especially next to the busy road." Recent research by the RSPCA found Essex was among the top ten counties with the highest number of calls to the RSPCA to report animals affected by litter. Essex had the sixth-highest number of reports about animals found severely injured, trapped, mutilated, choked or even dead from carelessly discarded litter.
