Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Sabrina Carpenter sets new record for voter engagement

Caption: Sabrina Carpenter has set a new record for generating voter engagement ahead of an election. The Espresso hitmaker encouraged more fans to register and vote than any other musician. According to voter-engagement organisation HeadCount, Sabrina, 25, convinced 35,814 voters to register during her Short n' Sweet album tour around America. HeadCount is a national nonprofit partnering with musicians to enhance democratic participation. Beyond registrations, Sabrina also inspired an additional 263,087 voters to engage in the electoral process in other ways, such as checking their registration status and searching for polling locations. Sabrina’s breakout numbers were followed by Ariana Grande, who registered 15,591 new voters, and Green Day, whose Saviors Tour led to 7,900 new voter registrations. ”Through our partnerships with over 100 top music artists - like Sabrina Carpenter, Green Day, Ariana Grande, and so many others - HeadCount had a record-breaking year, registering over 450,000 new voters and engaging over a million more people to make sure they vote,” "Our model works because musicians and celebrities have a cultural cache and an intimate connection with their fans, especially among young people, whose identity as a fan of a particular artist can be even stronger than other aspects of their identity, including affiliation with a political party or candidate. We are so grateful to our artist partners and their teams for inspiring their fans to take control of their future.” Instructions: THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
