Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Diddy's lawyers slam prosecutors' claim of possible second trafficking victim

Caption: Diddy's lawyers slam prosecutors' claim of possible second trafficking victim. Legal documents filed on Friday and obtained by TMZ dismiss an alleged second victim, claiming the woman cited is "not a victim at all”. The embattled rapper's lawyers also contend that Diddy has not, as alleged, attempted to obstruct prosecutors' investigation by contacting the purported second victim. They claim government lawyers misled the court during Diddy's first bail hearing after his 16 September arrest. The new filing is part of the 55-year-old's fourth attempt at making bail and being released from the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn after repeatedly being rejected by the court. The filing also accuses another alleged victim, 'Victim 1', with whom he had an an 11-year relationship of demanding $30 million (£23.2 million) from Diddy to purchase the rights to a tell-all book about their relationship. TMZ also reports that the Bad Boy for Life musician is offering a bail package including a $50 million (£38.7 million) bond and an offer to subject himself to effective round-the-clock surveillance to assuage fears he may flee the country or intimidate witnesses. The music mogul's trial date on charges of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution is currently set for 5 May 2025.
