The group says it wants the party to commit to what it calls fair taxation of the super-rich. It comes as Labour faces activist calls to introduce a wealth tax ahead of the autumn budget. A spokesperson for Everyone Hates Elon said: “Ordinary people are struggling with high bills and low wages, meanwhile in the last decade billionaires have gained enough wealth to end poverty 22 times over. “Politicians need to focus on the real enemy causing our problems, not immigrants trying to build a better life. “The only way to stop the far right is to improve people’s standard of living. That means taxing the wealth of billionaires, urgently.” The group has previously carried out a number of high-profile publicity stunts, including unfurling a banner featuring Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein at Windsor Castle during Mr Trump’s state visit, disrupting Jeff Bezos’s wedding in Venice, and staging protests against Tesla and its chief executive Elon Musk.
