Rock Paper Shotgun report that just two months after Bethesda’s biggest ever launch, the concurrent player count of those enjoying the magnificent and beautiful Starfield on Steam has slipped below the amount for Skyrim, despite the game already going for 12 years. The figures could well be down to Skyrim’s Special Edition which was launched on Monday 13 November. Meaning just a few hundred players was all it took to edge Starfield out of the top spot. The games were already growing closer in ranking over the previous weeks. Sadly for Starfield, it looks like Skyrim has it beat…for now!
