Caption: Release of Epstein Documents Causes Court Website to Crash. Over 900 pages of legal documents pertaining to Jeffrey Epstein were released to the public on Jan. 3, 'The Guardian' reports. Within those pages, Epstein's associates and numerous public figures linked to the disgraced financier and convicted sex offender were identified. However, most of the names that appear within the documents have been previously mentioned in legal proceedings. Additionally, many of them aren't accused of wrongdoing. Some high-profile names that were mentioned in the documents include former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, Prince Andrew, Michael Jackson and David Copperfield. However, the documents don't represent a "concrete client list," 'The Guardian' reports. Rather, many of the people who are mentioned include Epstein's accusers, his former staff members who spoke to tabloids,... trial witnesses, people who investigated Epstein, and others who were named in passing but aren't accused of vulgar behavior. The release of the documents caused the court's link to the website to crash. This sparked conspiracy theories that the crash was intentional in order to keep the names private, 'The Guardian' reports. Such theories stemmed from misinformation that has been surrounding the list for weeks. For example, Aaron Rodgers made baseless claims that Jimmy Kimmel's name would appear on the list. More documents are expected to be released in the coming days. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
