On Sunday night, the music superstar became the first person in the history of the Grammy Awards to win Album of the Year four times. Taylor was presented with the award by Celine Dion, who made a surprise appearance at the ceremony despite her health problems. The Cruel Summer hitmaker picked up the prestigious award for her 10th studio album, Midnights. She previously won the award in 2009 for Fearless, in 2016 for 1989, and in 2021 for Folklore. ”Oh god, no. I don't know man," Taylor said as she accepted the award from Celine. The All Too Well hitmaker gave a shout-out to her long-time collaborator and friend Jack Antonoff, calling him a "once in a generation" producer. She also praised fellow nominee Lana Del Rey, who joined her on stage, saying she was a "legend in her prime right now”. Taylor, who was nominated for six Grammys this year, also collected the award for Best Pop Vocal Album. Other winners of the night included: Record of the Year: Miley Cyrus – Flowers.
