The 21-year-old, who plays soccer for English Premier League team Brentford's B team, had been dating the model since they were both 16, but both announced their split on Sunday. Romeo wrote on Instagram: ”Mooch (Mia's nickname) and I have parted ways after 5 years of love, we still have a lot of respect for each other, and still hold a strong friendship and always will.” On her own Instagram Stories, Mia, also 21, confirmed the news, adding: "Love takes different forms & paths as you mature," adding that they had "friendzoned" each other. News of their split first emerged on Saturday, before they confirmed the reports were true via social media. ”Romeo and Mia had a fallout... they aren't together at the moment. They were living together, but Mia has apparently moved out of the place they shared and is staying with her parents. They've split up in the past and got back together again, but this time it feels more serious - Mia moving out obviously points to it being more than just a tiff.” Romeo first sparked speculation he had split from Mia after failing to share a message for her on Valentine's Day.
